The picturesque chronicle of a traditional Sicilian fishing family. A young mother Grazia is loved by her husband and three children. She is a fanciful woman, pointed out by the inhabitants of the island, who are jealous of her beauty and her freedom. Problems arise with her husband because of the village rumors. Her mysterious disappearance puts the whole village in a panic… A sensitive and touching role for Valeria Golino (“Rain Man”, “Leaving Las Vegas”).
